Having good enough self-esteem isn't about feeling perfect, or amazing about yourself all the time. Having good enough self-esteem is the ability to recognise your strengths and accept your weaknesses. 

The exercise below is one way of helping you develop good enough self-esteem.

Overcoming Low Self-Esteem

From the well-respected 'Overcoming...' series of books, this is a great start for anyone interested in tackling low self-esteem.

Guided self-help CBT-based book.

Full of information and exercises to try.

 

Six Pillars of Self-Esteem 

Nathanial Branden has dedicated much of his clinical practise to understanding this topic. 

This book is useful for both people interested in working on their low self-esteem, but also mental health practitioners, teachers, parents, and so on.



How to Raise Your Self-Esteem

This is Nathaniel Brandon's step-by-step guide to raising self-esteem.

The book is full of techniques and exercises that are designed to help you change the way you think and feel about yourself.
